The development, located at 357 E. 328 S in Grantsville, encompasses 15.40 acres and is slated to include a total of 46 lots. According to the application, each lot size is 12,000 square feet. The project was submitted by developer Grantsville New Team, LLC, located at 1676 Progress Way in Tooele, Utah.
The resolution was passed unanimously by the City Council, which included members Neil Critchlow, Rhett Butler, Heidi Hammond, Scott Bevan, and Jolene Jenkins. The council noted that the project underwent several review cycles to ensure compliance with city standards and zoning requirements. A public hearing regarding the project was held on April 4, 2024.
The approved plans include specifications for necessary infrastructure, such as drainage systems, streets, and water and sewer lines. The final plat aligns with zoning regulations as determined by the Grantsville City Planning and Zoning Staff in a report dated June 6, 2024.
