The Grantsville City Planning Commission scheduled a regular meeting for Sept. 1, 2026, according to a public notice published Aug. 21. The meeting is set to begin at 7:00 p.m. at 429 East Main Street in Grantsville.
The meeting agenda includes a request for a plat extension for the Matthews Meadows Phase 2 Subdivision. Additionally, the commission will consider proposed amendments to Chapters 2, 7, and 15 of the Grantsville Land Use Ordinance to establish a new use for Animal Encounters Facilities.
Commissioners are also scheduled to discuss and provide recommendations regarding proposed amendments to Chapter 9 of the Grantsville Land Use Ordinance. The meeting will also include the approval of minutes from the Aug. 18, 2026, Planning Commission Regular Meeting, reports from city staff and the City Council, and an open forum for planning commissioners.
