The Genola Town Council scheduled a public meeting for Sept. 16, 2026, at 7:00 p.m., according to a Sept. 15 notice. The meeting will be held at the public safety building located at 455 N. Main.
The meeting agenda includes the approval of August 19, 2026, minutes and the approval of expenditures totaling $39,545.81. Scheduled expenditures include payments to Santaquin City, Rocky Mountain Power, Mt. Nebo Water Agency, and Peace of Mind Law, among others.
Additional agenda items involve discussion and possible action on an Eagle Project with Branson Cowan, a lease agreement with the Department of Air Quality for a dust monitor, and Ordinance 2026-10, which would amend road standards. The Council will also discuss a memorandum of understanding for Utah Public Works Emergency Management and the consideration of an emergency preparedness director.
The meeting will include reports from the Police Chief, Fire Chief, and Planning Commission. A public forum will allow up to five residents to address the Council for three minutes each.
Council members scheduled to participate include Mayor Neil Brown and Councilmembers Grant Lundberg, Chad Coburn, Curtis Thomas, and Brenan Jackson.
