The Urban Arts Festival took place at Smith's Ballpark in Salt Lake City, Utah. Described as Utah's largest free art festival, the event was held from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday, August 22, 2026.
The festival featured an artist marketplace with over 90 local creators showcasing various mediums in the grandstands and on the field. The lineup included live music ranging from rap to the blues, with various performers scheduled throughout the day on the KUAA and Stage 1 stages.
Other scheduled activities included a live mural painting exhibition featuring over a dozen local muralists and graffiti artists. The Urban Arts Gallery also hosted its 15th annual Skate Deck Show, which allowed attendees to vote for their favorite decks created by Salt Lake artists.
Additional attractions included a custom lowrider, hopper, and bike exhibit, alongside various local art installations.
The Utah Arts Alliance stated that the festival aims to celebrate and amplify human creativity. The organization maintains a policy regarding AI, noting that art is a reflection of human experience and culture, and they do not allow artwork that is wholly or partially generated by AI for submissions.
