LOGAN, Utah (ABC4) — A Logan man has been arrested after he allegedly held a woman at knifepoint with a 14-inch machete and forced her to bind herself with cable ties. Trevor James Gilbin, 35, was arrested for aggravated kidnapping (first-degree felony), aggravated assault (third-degree felony), and threat of violence (class B misdemeanor).

Bystanders helped pulled driver from Logan River after medical emergency, crash

A driver was transported to the hospital after a medical emergency led to them crashing into the Logan River on Sunday. Nearby bystanders were able to pull the driver out of the river. Utah Highway Patrol officers confirmed the SUV was traveling southbound on State Route 89 when they experienced a medical emergency at milepost 474 and veered off the road into the Logan River.
