Nebo School District is rallying around the theme Be That Friend as a new school year begins, according to a notice on the district's website. Superintendent Rick Nielsen is participating in the initiative alongside Lindsey Hughes and Seth.
Taylor Elementary School has been actively recruiting for new positions. In a recent posting, the school stated it is looking for individuals with a sense of humor who enjoy working with people and are willing to work hard.
The district also noted that free and reduced lunch applications are open for the 2026-27 school year. Families can apply through the LINQ app on mobile devices.
Earlier in the year, Landmark High School hosted the Gear Up For School event on August 1, 2026. The event was organized by Tabitha's Way and provided backpacks to school-aged children.
