Online registration for the 2026-2027 school year is scheduled to open on Aug. 1 for the Uintah School District. Students who were enrolled in a district school on the final day of the 2025-2026 school year may register online using Aspire. Those who withdrew before the end of the previous school year or did not attend a district school last year must register by calling or visiting their intended school.
School secretaries are expected to return to work on Monday, Aug. 3, but will be participating in mandatory district training that day. Families are advised to wait until Tuesday, Aug. 4, to register students in person or by phone.
Specific registration dates and back-to-school events have been set by individual schools. For example, Naples Elementary will hold in-person registration on Aug. 4 and Aug. 5. Uintah Middle School will offer in-person registration from Aug. 4 through Aug. 6, while Uintah High School will hold registration on Aug. 5 and Aug. 6.
Central Cove Early Learning Center has completed registration for the 2026-2027 school year. Additional enrollment will be offered from the waitlist as openings arise, and families offered a spot have one week to complete registration and tuition payment.
Important upcoming dates for the district include the first day of school for grades K-12 on Wednesday, Aug. 19. The first day of preschool is scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 2.
Individuals interested in serving on a School Community Council are encouraged to contact their child's school directly. These councils are noted for playing an important role in school operations.
Various schools have scheduled back-to-school nights and orientations throughout August. For instance, Ashley Elementary will hold a Back to School Night on Aug. 17, and Eagle View Elementary has scheduled its event for Aug. 18.
