The Weber County Planning Commission has announced a meeting scheduled for September 8, 2026, to address various administrative and legislative items, according to a September 3 notice. The meeting is set to begin with a pre-meeting at 4:30 p.m., followed by a regular session at 5:00 p.m. at the 1st Floor Commission Chamber in Ogden.
The agenda for the upcoming meeting includes several administrative requests presented by Tammy Aydelotte. These include a request for conditional use approval for outdoor storage involving sandblasting, painting, and powder coating at 9501 W 900 S, Ogden. Additionally, the commission will review requests to approve modified concept development plans for Area B (The Ridge) and Area C (Earl's Village) within the Recorded Development Agreement for Powder Mountain.
Legislative items on the agenda include a public hearing regarding a request to consolidate the Consolidated Weber County General Plan with relevant sections of the Ogden Valley General Plan concerning the Ogden Canyon and East Weber areas. Another public hearing will address an amendment to Weber County Code regarding code enforcement to consider inoperable or abandoned vessels.
Following the regular meeting, the commission will adjourn to a work session to discuss a proposed R-3 rezone and General Plan Amendment for 30 acres located at 6150 West 900 South, involving Pat Burns.
