The Hurricane City Council adopted two new ordinances, according to a August 26 public notice.
Ordinance 2026-21 amends section 9-1-2 to adopt the Wildland-Urban Interface Code as set forth under the Utah Code.
Ordinance 2026-20 was also adopted, which amends sections 1-4-7 and 9-7-7 regarding civil penalties.
