Springville High School has named Jess Carter as its new welding instructor, according to a notice on the school's website. Carter joins the faculty with nearly two decades of experience in the Alpine School District.
Prior to his role at Springville High School, Carter served for 17 years in the Alpine School District. His previous positions included teaching at American Fork Junior High, serving as Assistant Principal at Pleasant Grove Junior High, and working as the Assistant Director of Career and Technical Education.
Carter stated that he enjoys working with students and finds teaching to be fun. He expressed a passion for welding, noting that it allows him to create and build things.
