The Center Street railroad crossing is scheduled for a complete closure to allow crews to replace the rails, according to a notice posted to the city's website.
The closure will be a hard closure, meaning vehicles will not be able to cross the tracks at Center Street during the work period.
The closure is scheduled to begin at 5:00 AM on Friday, August 21 and will continue through 9:00 PM on Monday, August 24.
Officials advised travelers to plan ahead and use an alternate route during the closure. The city expressed appreciation for public patience while the work is completed.
