Bountiful Elementary's VEX IQ robotics teams demonstrated significant progress throughout the 2025-2026 season. Beyond competitive results, the six teams utilized the engineering design process to navigate the Mix & Match game, focusing on problem-solving, teamwork, and overcoming challenges.
Notable team achievements
Several teams achieved notable milestones during the season. The 4BIDDEN5 (94329B) experienced a breakout year, earning an Excellence Award and finishing 15th in Robot Skills out of 60 top Utah elementary teams at the State Championship. The Silly Gooses (94329D) earned both the Inspire Award and the Judges Award while making multiple finals appearances.
Additional State Championship participants
Other teams also reached the State Championship, including VEXers (94329E) and BOT_BROS (94329F). The Circuit Sisters (94329A) concluded their season with their best Robot Skills score after a strong start in the first competition. Additionally, the Baby Boomers (94329C) opened their season with a finals appearance.
Future outlook and program funding
As the program prepares for the 2026-2027 season game reveal, Bountiful Elementary continues to emphasize the value of robotics in building student confidence and perseverance. The school noted that community donations are used to fund registration fees, equipment, and competition costs to keep the program sustainable.
