Heavy rain and storms trapped several people in popular areas of Bryce Canyon National Park on Monday afternoon, August 24, 2026, prompting a response from rangers, sheriff’s deputies and search-and-rescue crews. National Park Service rangers, Garfield County Search and Rescue and sheriff’s deputies helped bring people to safety.
