The PTA is sponsoring a schoolwide celebration at Bountyl Elementary this week to recognize the teachers who make a difference every day. To help students and families show appreciation, the PTA has planned a fun road trip themed week.
How families can participate
Families are encouraged to participate by choosing one day, several days, or all five days of the scheduled activities.
Daily road trip themed activities
The daily schedule for the appreciation week includes the following themes:
Monday is Colorful Road Trip, where participants can wear a teacher's favorite color.
Tuesday is Snacks for the Journey, which encourages bringing a favorite snack, drink, treat, or candy to a teacher.
Wednesday is Pack Your Kindness, focusing on bringing thank-you notes or finding ways to be extra helpful.
Thursday is Travel Essentials, where students can bring a favorite office or classroom supply.
Friday is Thanks for the Memories, inviting students to make a drawing or write a note about a favorite memory from the year.
Additional Bountiful Elementary school updates
In addition to Teacher Appreciation Week, Bountiful Elementary has several other school updates. The school has shared planned teaching teams for the 2026-2027 school year, though staffing assignments may shift based on enrollment and school needs.
Library returns and choir performances
All library books should be returned to Mrs. Berge to be organized for the upcoming year. Additionally, the Bountiful Elementary Choir will perform for students during the day and for the community on Wednesday, May 6th, with an evening performance scheduled from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Upcoming student field trip details
Upcoming field trips include first grade visiting Red Butte Garden and Arboretum, while 3rd and 4th Grade DEEP students are scheduled to attend a science documentary at Megaplex Theatres at Legacy Crossing.
