The team arrives in Florida seeking to break two significant streaks. The club has been winless in MLS action since May 16 and has gone seven games without a road victory since March 7, when they defeated Atlanta 3-2.
In their most recent outing on Wednesday, Real Salt Lake suffered a 3-4 loss against FC Dallas. This result left the team with a 10-2-2 overall record on Utah soil in 2026, though they continue to outscore visitors 34-15 at home.
Rookie Sergi Solans has been a key contributor, scoring 13 goals this season, which includes nine in MLS. Solans has set a new club record for rookie scoring, surpassing the eight-goal total previously held by Corey Baird during the 2019 MLS Rookie of the Year season.
