A small group of Tooele’s youth recently experienced a unique circumstance that partially swallowed 16-year-old Ellie Jaramillo’s four-door sedan. On Aug. 18, 2026, Jaramillo was traveling to McDonald’s with friends when she noticed other cars traveling slowly down a flooded 700 South in Tooele City.
