Injured hiker receives blood transfusion before airlift from Grand County
A hiker was flown to the hospital after suffering what officials called a traumatic injury in the Mineral Bottom area of Grand County. Grand County Emergency Responders, alongside crews from Grand County Search and Rescue and the Grand County Sheriff's Office, responded to the scene on Sunday evening.

GRAND COUNTY, Utah (ABC4) — Grand County Emergency Medical Services (GCEMS) performed a life-saving prehospital blood transfusion while responding to a traumatic injury call. According to officials, crews from GCEMS, Grand County Search and Rescue (GCSAR), and the Grand County Sheriff's crews responded to the call in the Mineral Bottom area on Friday night.
