Officials urge residents to remain vigilant as West Nile activity rises in Box Elder County

West Nile virus activity is significantly higher across Utah this year than at the same point in the previous two years, with 11 positive mosquito pools reported in Box Elder County through early August, including three in the Brigham City area. Brigham City Councilmember Matthew Jensen raised the issue during councilmember comments at the Aug. 6 meeting.
