(Salt Lake City, UT) — The Department of Homeland Security is abandoning plans to turn a massive Salt Lake City warehouse into an immigration detention facility. A federal court filing yesterday revealed DHS no longer intends to convert the 833-thousand-square-foot property near Salt Lake City International Airport.
