SANDY, Utah (ABC4) — The University of Utah is set to close its Sandy campus on January 1, 2027. Approximately 660 students have enrolled in classes at the Sandy campus this fall, and of those students, 33 registered exclusively at the Sandy Center for their classes.

'No imminent threat,' police say after Sandy school evacuated for 2nd time

A Sandy school has been evacuated for a second time in just a week following another threat being placed against the school. The Waterford School, a private school at 1480 East 9400 South, was evacuated Tuesday morning.
