New terrain, new thrills: Utah resorts debut major winter expansions
SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — Utah ski resorts will open more than 1,000 acres of new terrain and multiple upgraded chairlifts for the 2026-27 winter season. The statewide resort upgrades mark ongoing infrastructure developments across Utah's mountain destinations ahead of the 2034 Winter Games.

Judge rejects transport company request to reinstate license after three clients' deaths
A Utah judge upheld the state's revocation of a transport company's license after three clients were found dead in an employee's garage earlier this year. In March, the Utah Department of Health and Human Services revoked the license of Safe and Sound Services after the deaths of 25-year-old Colton Moser, 22-year-old Mosa'ati Moa, and 39-year-old Tim Jones.
