Firefighters responded to a neighborhood in St. George after at least five houses caught fire on Saturday, June 27. The incident involved multiple structures located along North Dixie Downs Road.
According to the St. George Police Department, at least five structures between 1200 and 1600 North Dixie Downs Road caught fire. Two houses were located on one side of the road while three others were on the opposite side.
Officials stated that strong winds caused unpredictable conditions during the response. While the police department noted that many people had been impacted by the fires, they did not provide specific details regarding those affected. No injuries were reported at the time of the report.
