Utah Royals FC announced Tuesday that it will host a special celebration titled Celebrando Nuestro Futuro during its August 2 match against the Portland Thorns to honor Hispanic youth and the winners of the inaugural Copa Tonahuac tournament. The upcoming match will feature a series of festivities held during the pre-game, halftime, and post-game periods. These activities are organized in partnership with the Federacion de Mexicanos Unidos de Utah to recognize the champions of the first-ever Copa Tonahuac tournament. The tournament, which was designed to expand access to soccer and celebrate the passion for fútbol within Utah's Latino community, was held in Salt Lake City from July 24 to July 26. The inaugural tournament included both boys' and girls' divisions for youth between the ages of 9 and 15.
