Alpine School District is entering its historic final school year as hallways across the district have been active with returning students. Vista Heights Middle School also reported a successful start to the school year for its students, including an event for incoming seventh graders.
At Vista Heights Middle School, more than 1,800 students in grades 7 through 9 participated in the first week of school. The school also hosted a 7th Grade Day to help incoming seventh graders prepare for the new school year.
The district is currently preparing for an upgrade to its student information system as part of ongoing reconfiguration efforts. This transition involves moving to Skyward Qmlativ.
Other recent district activities include the recognition of educators with the Accent on Excellence award and various student achievements in math, music, and Chinese language competitions.
