Box Elder County is inviting community members, colleagues, and friends to share memories, stories, and photos to honor Sheriff Kevin Potter. The initiative aims to celebrate his more than 30 years of service to the county as his tenure comes to a close at the end of December.
According to a notice on the Box Elder County website, Potter's career included roles in Patrol, SWAT, Search and Rescue, Emergency Management, and County Leadership. The county stated that his years of service have left a lasting impact on the communities and people of Box Elder County.
All submissions, including photos and notes of appreciation, are to be submitted by October 1, 2026. These contributions will be compiled into a keepsake book to be presented to the Sheriff in appreciation of his service.
