The Syracuse Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, regarding a zoning amendment request, according to a notice published July 23.
The meeting is scheduled for 6 pm in the Council Chambers of City Hall, located at 1979 West 1900 South.
The hearing will address a request by Michael Shampton to rezone a 0.684-acre property located at approximately 2961 S 1550 W. The proposal seeks to change the property designation from R-2 (Residential) to A-1 (Agricultural).
