Syracuse City has issued a vendor application for food trucks and trailers for the 2026 Pumpkin Walk, according to a notice on the city's website. The application process for the event is open to food truck and trailer operators seeking to participate in the festivities.
Applications for the event were scheduled to be accepted from July 15 through September 21. The city maintains the discretion to accept late applications and may limit the number of vendors offering similar goods or services to as few as two.
Food vendors must comply with Davis County Health Department requirements and obtain a temporary food service permit. Participants are required to maintain liability insurance with coverage of at least $100,000 per individual and $300,000 per occurrence. Additionally, food vendors must provide their own power using a silent generator and maintain a three-foot safety barrier between the public and cooking equipment.
The event was scheduled to take place on Thursday, October 22; Friday, October 23; and Saturday, October 24, with sales occurring from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM each evening. Vendors must check in and set up between 4:30 PM and 5:30 PM.
Booth pricing is structured by size, with 10' x 10' booths costing $50, 10' x 20' booths costing $100, and 10' x 30' booths costing $150. A $20 late application fee applies. The city reserves the right to cancel the event due to inclement weather or public safety threats, which may affect refund eligibility.
Vendors are required to keep their assigned areas clean and remove trash to dumpsters rather than trash cans. The city may terminate any permit immediately for violations of regulations, and vendors who violate specific rules regarding sales hours or prohibited items may be barred from participating in city events for up to 13 months.
