Holy Cross Ministries was recognized as a first-time grant recipient at the Promontory Foundation’s Happiest Hour Grant Reception held Aug. 25 at the Promontory Club in Park City.
The grant is intended to sustain Holy Cross Ministries’ community health worker doula, who works with the women’s health team at People’s Health Clinic. The role supports uninsured and underserved mothers during the pregnancy and postpartum periods through prenatal and postpartum education, breastfeeding and nutrition support, resource navigation, advocacy, and connections to mental health and other essential services. This support helps mothers navigate barriers to care to build healthy beginnings for their families.
The Promontory Foundation distributed $500,000 in 2026 grants across 45 local organizations. Recipients included Holy Cross Ministries, People’s Health Clinic, the Alf Engen Ski Museum, Ballet West, Christian Center of Park City, Kimball Art Center, National Ability Center, Peace House, and Youth Sports Alliance.
The Promontory Foundation serves as the philanthropic arm of the Promontory Club, a private luxury mountain community in Park City. Established in 2006, the foundation aims to match the generosity of Promontory Club members with the needs of non-profit organizations serving Park City and the surrounding Summit and Wasatch counties.
