The Hyde Park Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2026, to discuss a proposed amendment to the city's Land Use Code, according to a September 17 notice.
The proposed ordinance amendment 2026-24 involves changes to sections 12.220.100, 12.260, and 12.290.010 of the Land Use Code. According to the notice, the Hyde Park City Planning Department proposes to add the use of a caretaker facility to the Public/Institutional Zone as a conditional use.
The hearing is scheduled to take place from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at 113 E. Center St. in Hyde Park. Public members may provide factual testimony during the hearing or submit written comments to planning@hpcutah.gov.
