Hyde Park City is accepting applications to fill a mid-term vacancy on the City Council, according to a notice on the city's website.
The appointed council member will serve through January 1, 2028.
Applicants for the position must be registered voters of Hyde Park City and have lived within the city for at least the previous 12 consecutive months. Candidates must also meet other eligibility requirements outlined in the application.
The application deadline is set for Thursday, September 17, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. Candidate interviews are scheduled for Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. at the Hyde Park City Office Building.
