The West Jordan Planning Commission is scheduled to hold a regular meeting on September 15, 2026, at 6:00 PM. The meeting will take place at 8000 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, UT 84088.
According to the meeting notice, the agenda includes a consent calendar to approve meeting minutes from the September 1, 2026, Planning Commission Work Session and Regular Meeting.
Public hearings with final action by the Planning Commission include a request from Carver Construction for a conditional use permit for outside storage and operations in the Drinking Water Source Protection Overlay at 5577 W Leo Park Rd. Additionally, the commission will review a preliminary site plan for The Marlowe Apartments located at 3247 West Jordan Loop Lane.
The commission will also conduct a public hearing regarding Highlands Landing North, located at approximately 7592 South 5490 West. The 14.07-acre project involves a request from Peterson Development for a future land use map amendment and rezoning from RR1D and SC2 to R38 and SC2. This proposal includes changing the land use from very low density residential, parks and open land, and community commercial to medium density residential and community commercial.
