The Morgan County Planning Commission scheduled a public hearing for September 10, 2026, to discuss a land use map amendment and rezoning request near 4970 West 6100 North, according to a September 9 statement.
The hearing, scheduled for 6:30 p.m., involves a request for a Future Land Use Map Amendment (FLUMA) and rezoning. The proposal seeks to change the Future Land Use Map from Ranch Residential 5 to Village Low Density Residential and to change the zoning from A-20 to R1-20.
The request covers a total of 51.299 acres across four parcels: 00-0002-5831 (4.50 acres), 00-0086-5855 (46.749 acres), 00-0086-5775 (0.04 acres), and 00-0075-2329 (0.01 acres).
The meeting is scheduled to take place in the Morgan County Commission Room at the Morgan County Courthouse, located at 48 West Young Street. The commission may vote to discuss items in executive session as provided by Utah Code Ann. & 52-4-4 and 52-4-5.
