Greater Salt Lake Municipal Services District offices are scheduled to close on Tuesday, Sept. 15, for a staff event, according to a notice on the district's website.
The closure is expected to last from 11:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
The Board of Trustees for the district includes a Salt Lake County Council member and either an appointed councilmember or a Mayor from each participating city or town, representing unincorporated communities.
Responsible for setting policy and the budget for the Municipal Services District, the Board also appropriates administrative funds to the Salt Lake County unincorporated areas and to City and Town Councils.
The Board of Trustees holds meetings at 6 pm on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month.
Agendas and meeting minutes are available on Utah's Public Meeting Notice website. Citizens are permitted to attend meetings and provide comments at the start of regular meetings.
