Bountiful Elementary has entered its final week of the school year, marked by end-of-year celebrations and upcoming schedule changes. The last day of school is scheduled for Friday, May 22, with an early dismissal at 1:30 p.m. Students are expected to return for the 2026-2027 school year on Thursday, August 20.
Upcoming End-of-Year Events
The school is preparing for several key end-of-year events. Field Day, sponsored by the Bountiful Elementary PTA, will take place on Wednesday, May 20, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:15 p.m., featuring rotation-based activities outdoors. Additionally, graduation ceremonies are scheduled for the week, with the sixth grade graduation occurring Thursday, May 21, at 9:30 a.m. and the Kindergarten graduation held Friday, May 22, at 10:00 a.m.
Summer Preparation and Lost Items
To prepare for summer, the school is requesting that all library books be returned to Mrs. Berge. Families are also encouraged to check the lost and found for items such as jackets, lunch boxes, and water bottles, as anything left after the last day of school will be donated.
Details on Summer Programming
Summer programming includes a free summer school program for students in grades K–5. This program features enrichment classes and a daily PowerHour class focused on math and literacy, taught by Bountiful Elementary staff. The sessions will run from 8:30–11:30 a.m. during three specific blocks: June 16–18, June 22–25, and June 29–July 2. Registration forms must be submitted to teachers or the school office by May 22.
Library Summer Hours
The school library will also offer summer hours on select Tuesdays from 9:30-11:00 a.m. for students to check out books.
