Remembering 9/11Emy PorterSeptember 11, 2026Today, we remembered September 11 through stories of courage, service, and kindness. 🇺🇸We were grateful to welcome our local firefighters to school as they met with each of our fourth- and fifth-grade classes. They shared about their important work during emergencies, the incredible efforts of emergency responders on September 11 and in the days that followed, and the many acts of kindness shown by people coming together to help one another. Our students then joined the firefighters for a special walk carrying American flags. With each step, they were invited to think about the many ways they can spread kindness and make a difference in the lives of others. ❤️We are grateful for the heroes who serve our communities and for the reminder that even small acts of kindness can have a lasting impact.Remember. Honor. Serve. Be Kind.
