Crimson Sky Estates Approved
During the June 17 meeting held in the Council Chambers of Washington City Hall, the authority voted unanimously to approve a minor subdivision for Crimson Sky Estates. The project, submitted by applicant Kent Stanger, is located at approximately 20 East and 3090 South.
City Planner Sebastian Ferguson reviewed the application during the session. Board Member Pete Bulloch opened the public hearing for the subdivision, noting that no public comments were made regarding the proposal. Following the hearing, Board Member Merril Davis moved to approve the Crimson Sky Estates Minor Subdivision with the findings and conditions provided by staff, a motion seconded by Latai Tupou that passed with a unanimous roll call vote.
Carmel at Alaia Development
The authority also addressed several preliminary plats for larger-scale developments. The board approved a preliminary plat for Carmel at Alaia, located near Waters Edge Way and Red Slopes Parkway. The application was submitted by Alaia Development Corporation and reviewed by City Planner Sebastian Ferguson.
During the public hearing, Brandee Walker of Civil Science spoke on behalf of the applicant. No members of the public offered comments during the proceedings. Similar to the Crimson Sky Estates vote, the board approved this plat with staff findings and conditions after a motion by Davis and a second by Tupou.
Solente Village Expansion
Further development approvals included the preliminary plat for Solente Village 1 LaParea Villa Lots, situated north of Colima Road and east of Altozano Road. This project, submitted by Alliance Consulting, underwent review by City Planner Sebastian $

During the public hearing for this item, Craig Coats addressed the board. The Land Use Authority ultimately approved the preliminary plat with staff conditions following a motion from Tupou and a second from Davis.
Bridger Lane Amendments
The June 17 meeting also concluded with the approval of a final plat amendment for the Bridger Lane Subdivision. The request, known as Partial Amendment "A," concerns the property located at 191 West Bridger Lane and was submitted by Rosenberg Associates.
Owner Brett Baron spoke to the item during the public hearing. After review by Ferguson, the board approved the amendment with staff findings and conditions through a motion by Davis and a second by Tupola.
