The West Valley City Planning Commission held a public hearing on September 9, 2026, to review several applications regarding general plan and zone changes.
The meeting was held at West Valley City Hall, located at 3600 Constitution Blvd. in West Valley City, Utah.
One petition, GPZ-4-2026, was submitted by Nathalie Delgado. The request involves a General Plan change from Rural Residential (1 to 2 units/acre) to Large Lot Residential (2 to 3 units/acre), and a zone change from A-1 (Agriculture, minimum lot size 1 acre) to RE (Residential Estate) for a 0.99-acre property at 2808 South 6400 West.
A second petition, Z-3-2026, was submitted by Norm Dahle. This request seeks a zone change from A (Agriculture, minimum lot size 1/2 acre) to M (Manufacturing) for a 5.95-acre property located at 6379 West 2501 South.
In addition to the applications, the commission was scheduled to conduct business including the approval of minutes from the August 19, 2026, study meeting and the August 26, 2026, planning hearing.
