An emergency water shutdown was issued for 475 N from Washington Blvd to the end of the cul-de-sac because a pipeline requires immediate repair, according to a notice on the Ogden city website.
The shutdown affects hydrants in the area. Service restoration was estimated for 10:30 PM on 9/10/2026.
As a result of the shutdown, residents may experience discolored water. Officials recommend running the cold water faucet in a bathtub until the water clears to help flush home water lines. It is recommended that residents do not use hot water or wash light-colored laundry until the water runs clear.
Water crews will flush lines in the area once emergency repairs are complete. The city requested that residents notify them if discolored water continues.
