According to a September 17 document, Riverton City has released a question and answer sheet regarding the CC26-473 Frontage Improvement Project. The document addresses specific inquiries regarding utility relocations and project management for the project.
Regarding utility infrastructure, the city stated that utility companies will move the utility pole and phone pedestal. Contractors are required to work around these items until the utility companies relocate them.
Regarding water services, the city clarified that the project requires the relocation of meters currently located in yards. The goal of moving these meters is to allow access without entering properties in the future. This work does not require additional roadway removal.
In response to inquiries about bidding, the city noted that a design firm is permitted to bid on construction. However, if a design firm is awarded the construction bid, the city will contract the construction management portion of the proposal to a different firm.
The city reported that there is no engineer estimate available for the project. The project is expected to reach completion within 60 calendar days following the receipt of a Notice to Proceed.
