The Riverton Historic Preservation Commission is scheduled to meet on Sept. 17, 2026, according to a public notice published Sept. 15. The meeting will take place at 4:30 p.m. at 12830 South Redwood Road in Riverton.
The agenda for the meeting includes the approval of minutes from June 18, 2026, and training on open and public meetings led by City Attorney Ryan Carter. Other items on the agenda include a report on historic homes, budget approval for spending, and updates regarding the Old Dome from an architect.
Commissioners will also discuss celebrations for the 100th anniversary of the City Hall building in 2027, the Historical Room Project, granary upgrades, and a system for receiving historic items. Additionally, a site visit and consultation from the Utah History Museum is scheduled for Sept. 28, 2026, at 2:30 p.m.
Riverton City Hall is an accessible facility.
