The Southern Utah Heritage Choir has announced its 2026–2027 concert season, which includes performances at the historic St. George Tabernacle and the new America First Performing Arts Center. The season features six scheduled concerts designed to celebrate various traditions and musical themes through the year.
The season begins at the America First Performing Arts Center with Sing! A Community Choral Festival, a workshop featuring composer and conductor Craig Courtney. Following this, the Fall Concert, titled Under Autumn Skies, was scheduled for Oct. 23 and Oct. 24 at the St. George Tabernacle, featuring guest artist Brandon Lee.
Holiday and spring performances will also take place at the America First Performing Arts Center, including the Heaven & Nature Sing Christmas concert featuring the Desert Hills High School Concert Choir under Joe Woolf, and the Songs of Love & Spring concert featuring the St. George Children's Choir under Rachel Cox. The choir will also perform Risen Forever at the St. George Tabernacle to celebrate Easter, featuring 2026 scholarship winners.
The final scheduled event for the season is the Flag Day tribute, For the Fallen and the Free, at the America First Performing Arts Center, featuring tenor Eric Taylor.
The choir performs in two primary locations. The St. George Tabernacle, located at 18 South Main Street, has been the choir's home since 1994. The America First Performing Arts Center, located at 325 S 700 E, is a renovated venue that serves as the choir's new permanent home alongside the Southwest Symphony.
The America First Performing Arts Center requires adherence to Utah Tech University’s Clear Bag Policy. The St. George Tabernacle offers free parking and is wheelchair accessible.
