Beyond vehicle improvements, the project focuses on pedestrian accessibility. UDOT confirmed that work on sidewalk pedestrian ramps was completed as of July 17, 2026, as part of an effort to ensure all ramps meet current ADA standards.

The construction schedule is primarily focused on overnight hours to minimize disruption to daytime traffic. Work is scheduled to take place nightly from Sunday nights through Friday mornings.
