One person died at the scene and another was transported to a hospital with critical injuries following a shooting in Moab on Tuesday afternoon, according to a September 15 report by Gephardt Daily.
The incident occurred at approximately 4 p.m. in the 300 west block of Williams Way. Moab City police are investigating the shooting with assistance from the Grand County Sheriff’s Office and the Grand County District Attorney’s Office.
Moab City Police stated that there is no ongoing danger to the public resulting from the incident. Officials requested patience while the investigation into the scene and the incident continues.
Authorities indicated they hoped to provide more information as the investigation develops.
