NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Holladay Planning Commission will hold a public

hearing on Tuesday, September 15th 2026, as close to 6:00 P.M. as possible. The purpose of

the hearing is to accept comments during review and consideration of amending various sections

of Title 13 of the Holladay Land Use and Development Ordinance to comply with State of Utah

Accessory Dwelling Unit housing provisions passed by the legislature as SB284 (2026).

The amendments will align current accessory dwelling unit standards with requirements outlined

in SB284 by modifying standards currently regulating: the approval process, building design, and

placement.

The packet with information regarding this application will be available for public inspection on the

City’s website, www.holladayut.gov and at the Community Development Dept. during normal business

hours three days prior to the scheduled meeting.

Please note, this meeting will be held at the City of Holladay’s temporary location,

3330 South 1300 East, Millcreek, Utah.

The public can remotely watch the Live Stream of the meeting. To provide a public comment or to

comment on any public hearing, you have the following options:

1. In-person attendance at the temporary City Hall location, 3330 S. 1300 E. or

2. Email your comments by 5:00 PM on the date of the meeting to jteerlink@holladayut.gov or call

801527-3890.
