The Newton Town Planning Commission scheduled a workshop meeting for Sept. 24, 2026, to work on draft maps for the Newton General Plan, according to a September 16 notice.
The meeting is set to take place at Newton Town Hall, located at 51 South Center, Newton, UT. During the session, the commission will meet with Brandon Bell of BRAG to review the draft maps. The meeting is scheduled to run from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Members may participate in the meeting electronically pursuant to UCA 52-4-207. The public is invited to participate in all town meetings. Individuals requiring special accommodations to participate should call the Town Clerk at 435-563-9283 at least three working days before the meeting.
