The Southern Utah University Career Center has scheduled an Accounting Meet the Firms Night for Wednesday, September 16, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. MDT. The event will be held at the R. Haze Hunter Conference Center in the Great Hall.
Held every fall, the event provides an opportunity for students and alumni to connect with qualified employers in the accounting industry. Attendees can present themselves professionally in person to potential employers while showcasing their communication skills.
According to the Career Center, successful participation in the fair requires preparation and follow-up. The center recommends that attendees research participating employers through Handshake and review career fair etiquette.
To prepare for the event, the Career Center suggests that students prepare a 30-second introduction, dress in business professional clothing, and bring multiple copies of their resumes. The center also recommends requesting business cards during the fair to facilitate follow-up thank you notes and updating LinkedIn accounts.
