The No. 12-ranked Utah Utes are scheduled to welcome Kansas to Salt Lake City this Saturday for an 8:15 p.m. MT kickoff. The Big 12 Conference matchup at Rice-Eccles Stadium will be televised by ESPN and will feature a White Out theme.
According to a fan guide released by Utah Athletics, fans are encouraged to wear white for the game. Former Utah defensive lineman Devin Kaufusi is scheduled to wave the Utes flag before kickoff. Additionally, fans can participate in a light show during the break between the first and second quarters by selecting Utes Light Show in the Utah 360 app.
The University of Utah Athletics recommends that fans arrive early to manage digital tickets and parking passes. Stadium gates open two hours before kickoff, while parking lots open five hours before kickoff, with the exception of Signature and tailgate lots which open at 6 a.m. Fans are encouraged to gather outside Gate L on 500 South by 5:50 p.m. to meet the team buses.
Rice-Eccles Stadium will utilize NFC-enabled technology for ticket scanning and maintains a clear bag policy. Only clear bags up to 12x18 inches are permitted, alongside small clutch bags no larger than 6.5x4.5 inches. Concessions will operate using cashless transactions, accepting credit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Wallet.
The upcoming game marks a return to Rice-Eccles Stadium for the Utes for the first time in three weeks. The team currently holds a 4-0 record and is 1-0 in the Big 12, while Kansas enters the matchup with a 2-2 record and is 0-1 in the Big 12.
