East Meadows is offering a free commemorative t-shirt to students whose families make a $35 per student donation. According to a notice from the school, these donations help fund school supplies, field trips, assemblies, student reward systems, and various activities.
The school is preparing to sell special t-shirts to celebrate its 20th anniversary. Families who make a $35 donation by September 15 will receive a voucher to select a shirt size.
Donations can be made through several methods at the front office or online. Cash or check payments go entirely into the donation account. Credit or debit card payments at the front office incur a $1.40 processing fee. Payments made through School Cash Online incur a $1.70 service fee.
The school expressed gratitude to parents who have already contributed to the fund.
