Three-Year Degree Path
Under the program structure, students begin working half-time during their senior year of high school. While working in the industry, they simultaneously take classes toward a technical degree and earn apprenticeship credit for their professional work.
The company stated that within three years, participants will graduate with an associate degree. This credential is intended to provide both accelerated career opportunities within Intermountain Electronics and applicable skills that are highly sought after across the country.
Specialized Technical Tracks
The apprenticeship is organized into a single program that offers four distinct technical tracks. Students can choose to specialize in one of the following areas:
• Electrical Technician
• Welding & Fabrication
• Drafting & 3D Design
• Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
