An emergency water shutdown was issued for 4750 S from 1100 E to Oxford Dr because a pipeline required immediate repair, according to a notice from the city.
The shutdown was expected to be resolved by 12:00 PM on September 19, 2026. Hydrants in the affected area were also impacted by the repair work.
Residents in the area might experience discolored water as a result of the shutdown. Officials recommended running a cold water faucet in a bathtub until the water clears to help flush home water lines. It was recommended that residents avoid using hot water or washing light colored laundry until the water runs clear.
